The bass guitar is so insanely important in worship music. It holds it all together.
Bass now a days is not as smooth sounding as it once was. Its aggressive, compressed, and gritty. Most bass players use a distortion type pedal to get that tone but I know that in a recording I can create any tone I want once its recorded. Check out this video where we take a cheap squier bass and turn it into the aggressive worship bass tone we all want!
